Holoschyna ( Ukrainian Голошина ; Russian Голошина Goloschina , Polish Hołoszyna ) is a village in the Eastern Carpathians in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 400 inhabitants (2006).

The scattered settlement on both sides of the Cheremosh originated in the 19th century as Holoszina and was at that time separated by the river in the southeast of the historical landscape of Galicia of Bukovina , after 1919 today's village was part of the Second Polish Republic while the part in Bukovina (see Holoschyna (Putyla) ) came to Romania . Only in 1932 did the village of Hołoszyna become independent. Holoschyna forms its own district municipality within the Verkhovyna district in Pokutien and is located 160 km south of the Oblast capital Ivano-Frankivsk and 53 km south of the Verkhovyna district center .
