Horace Mastronardi

Horace (Horaz) Mastronardi (1912 or 1913; † March 1995 ) was a Swiss lawyer who was known for his involvement in appeal proceedings .

Life

Mastronardi received his doctorate in 1933 at the University of Bern with the dissertation The position of the expert in criminal procedure law . His interest in revision procedures and miscarriages of justice was the case Riedel-Guala aroused. Mastronardi participated in about fifty revision proceedings and was considered a specialist in just such proceedings. His clients included Friedrich Dürrenmatt , the Theodore von Kármán family , Timothy Leary , Hans Brändlin and Pierre Jaccoud .
