Hove ( Low German Hoov ), consisting of small and large Hove, is a district of the municipality of Jork in the Altes Land in the Lower Saxony district of Stade .

Geography and transport links

The place is southeast of the core town Jork on the state road L 140. The Este , a left tributary of the Elbe, flows through the place . The distance to the north flowing Elbe is 3.5 km, the distance to the eastern border with Hamburg 2.5 km. The A 26 runs south-west and the B 73 a little further south-west .

North is the 68 ha large nature reserve (NSG) Borsteler Binnenelbe and Big Brack , south, the 1,317 ha NSG Moore in Buxtehude and southeast - in Hamburg area - the 737-hectare nature reserve Moor belt .
