Hubert Ernst Julius Erdmann von Michaelis (born April 12, 1858 in Quatzow ; † July 22, 1925 there ) was the owner of the manor and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Michaelis, descendant of the soldier family of the same name, which was raised to the nobility in 1787 . His parents were the heir to Quatzow and Prussian Rittmeister Ernst von Michaelis (1820–1871) and Valeska Brandt von Lindau (1828–1905). He attended high schools in Köslin and Treptow . In 1878 he joined the 11th Dragoon Regiment ; In 1890 he took over as lieutenant to leave . Since 1888 he was the owner of the manor in Quatzow. He was also Rittmeister of the Landwehr cavalry, major in the reserve , district deputy and member of the district council and district committee of the Schlawe district , chief officer and deputy of the landscape. He was also chairman of the Schlawe district warrior association and the Schlawe association, member of the board of the conservative Schlawe association and electoral district chairman of the farmers' association . He was the bearer of the Red Eagle Order IV Class , the Crown Order IV Class and since 1915 an honorary citizen of Schlawe.

From 1903 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the electoral district of Köslin 2 ( Bütow , Rummelsburg , Schlawe ) and the German Conservative Party . Between 1904 and 1914 he was also a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .
