Huff Creek is a 34 km long tributary of the Guyandotte River in the southwest of the US state West Virginia . About the Guyandotte River and the Ohio River it belongs to the catchment area of the Mississippi River and drains an area with a size of 130 km 2 in a rural area of ​​the Allegheny Plateau that was not glaciated .

Huff Creek has its source in northern Wyoming County , about three kilometers northwest of Kopperston and flows generally westward through the unincorporated communities Lacoma, Cyclone and Campus in Wyoming Counties and Gillman Bottom , Claypool , Mineral City , Davin and Mallory in Logan Counties to Huff Junction , where it flows into the Guyandotte River about one and a half kilometers southeast of Man from the east. Below Lacoma, the creek is accompanied by West Virginia Route 10 .

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection states that approximately 97% of the Huff Creek drainage basin is forested , mostly deciduous.
