Humboe ( Humboi ) is an East Timorese Suco in the Ermera administrative office ( Ermera municipality ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Humboe had an area of ​​5.67 km². Now it is 6.12 km². The Suco is located in the east of the Ermera administrative office. To the north is Suco Riheu , northwest of Suco Mertuto , southwest of Suco Leguimea , southeast of Suco Estado and east of Suco Lauala .

The highways that connect the municipal capital Gleno with the towns of Ermera and Atsabe lead through Humboe . In Humboe are the villages of Poeana ( Pocana ), Manuhei ( Mamuhei ), Borohei ( Borhei ) and Hatali . The primary school Escola Primaria No. is located in Borohei . 128 Humboe .

The four Aldeias Borohei , Dirlau , Hatali and Poeana are located in the Suco .

Residents

2305 inhabitants (2015) live in Suco, of which 1181 are men and 1124 women. The population density is 376.6 inhabitants / km². There are 376 households in the Suco. Almost 84% of the population name Tetum Prasa as their mother tongue. Over 16% speak Mambai .

history

In Borohei at the end of 1979 there was an internment camp for East Timorese civilians ( transit camp ) who were supposed to be relocated by the Indonesian occupiers in order to better fight the FALINTIL .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was Pedro Salsinha Exposto elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected.
