The whore is a 33 km long left tributary of Ciron in the French departments of Landes and Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It drains an area of ​​193 km² and flows through the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park along its entire course , except for the last section in the municipality of Noaillan .

The whore rises at 83  m in the municipality of Callen in the north of the Landes department. After a short run to the south-east, it turns to the north-west and shortly afterwards crosses the border to the Gironde department at the commune of Bourideys . It reaches Saint-Symphorien , where it turns northeast and shortly thereafter flows through the village center before passing the village of Saint-Léger-de-Balson in the north.

It picks up the Blanc from the left before it is dammed up to the Étang de la Ferrière immediately after crossing the municipal boundary to Balizac . After leaving the Étang , it takes its main tributary from the left with the Nère . Immediately afterwards it takes up the Calot from the right and touches the district of La Fournière in the municipality of Noaillan in the north. It now flows into the Chicoy Jeannot from the left , before it finally flows into the Ciron from the left and south-southwest at 19  m northwest of the village of Noaillan.
