Balizac ( Occitan Balisac ) is a French municipality with 503 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Langon and Les Landes des Graves (until 2015 Saint-Symphorien ). The inhabitants are called Balizacais .

Balizac is located about 53 kilometers south-southeast of Bordeaux . Balizac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landiras in the north, Budos in the north and northeast, Léogats in the northeast, Noaillan in the east, Villandraut in the southeast, Saint-Léger-de-Balson in the south, Saint-Symphorien in the southwest and Origne in the west.
