Brannens ( Occitan Branens ) is a French municipality with 239 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langon and the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides . The inhabitants are called Brannensois .
geography
Brannens is about 56 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Brannens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bieujac in the north, Savignac in the east and Auros in the south and west.
