Langoiran is a French commune in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the canton of L'Entre-deux-Mers in the Arrondissement of Langon .

The municipality on the Garonne is located about 25 kilometers south of the city of Bordeaux . While Langoiran had 1571 inhabitants in 1962, there are currently 2152 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017).
