Semens town hall

Semens ( Gascon identical) is a commune with 206 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Langon and the canton of L'Entre-deux-Mers (until 2015 Saint-Macaire ). The inhabitants are called Semensois .

Semens is located in the southwest of France . North and northwest of the municipality is Monprimblanc , east Saint-Germain-de-Grave , southeast Saint-André-du-Bois , south Saint-Maixant and Verdelais , west and southwest Sainte-Croix-du-Mont and west Gabarnac .
