Bernos-Beaulac ( Bernos e Baulac on gascognisch ) is a French municipality with 1104 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement Langon and the canton Le Sud-Gironde (until 2015: canton Bazas ). The inhabitants are called Beaulacais .

geography

Bernos-Beaulac is 57 kilometers south-southeast of Bordeaux and about 20 kilometers south of Langon . Bernos-Beaulac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marimbault in the north, Cudos in the east, Escaudes in the south-east, Captieux in the south, Lucmau in the west and south-west and Pompéjac in the north-west.

The national route 524 and the A65 autoroute run through the municipality .
