Mesterrieux ( Occitan MESTE Riu ) is a French municipality with 222 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langon and the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides . The inhabitants are called Mesterriais .
geography
Mesterrieux is about 58 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . The Dropt limits the community in the south. Mesterrieux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landerrouet-sur-Ségur in the north and west, Rimons in the north and north-east, Neuffons in the east, Roquebrune in the south-east and Loubens in the south and south-west.
