Camiran ( Gascon identical) is a French municipality with 412 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides in the Langon arrondissement . The inhabitants are called Camiranais .
geography
Camiran is about 46 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . Camiran is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Félix-de-Foncaude in the north and north-west, Saint-Hilaire-du-Bois in the north, Saint-Martin-de-Lerm in the east and north-east, Bagas in the east and south-east, and Les Esseintes in the south , Morizès in the southwest and Saint-Exupéry in the west.
