Loubens ( Gascon : Lobens ) is a municipality with 301 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Gironde . It belongs to the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides in the Langon arrondissement . The residents are called Loubatons .

geography

Loubens is about 57 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . The Dropt River limits the municipality to the north. Loubens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-de-Lerm in the north and north-west, Landerrouet-sur-Ségur in the north, Mesterrieux in the north and north-east, Roquebrune in the east, Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Noaille in the south-east, Saint- Sève in the south and Bagas in the west and south-west.
