Gajac is a French municipality with 380 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the canton of Le Sud-Gironde ( Bazas until 2015 ) and the Arrondissement of Langon . The residents call themselves Gajacais.

geography

Gajac is bordered by Gans to the north, Sendets to the east, Birac to the south, Saint-Côme to the southwest and Bazas to the west . A small lake called Lac de la Prade is located in the southwest with the municipality marker .
