Gornac is about 41 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . Gornac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Porte-de-Benauge in the north and north-west, Coirac in the north and north-east, Castelviel in the east, Saint-Laurent-du-Bois in the south-east, Saint-Martial in the south, Mourens in the south-west and Saint-Pierre- de-bat in the west.
