Birac Town Hall (Mairie)

Birac (identical to Gascon ) is a French municipality with 231 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Langon and the canton Le Sud-Gironde (until 2015 Bazas ). The inhabitants are called Biracais .

geography

Birac is located 58 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux and about 22 kilometers south-southeast of Langon . Birac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gajac in the north, Sendets in the east and northeast, Lavazan in the east and southeast, Cudos in the south and southwest, Sauviac in the west and southwest and Saint-Côme in the west and northwest.
