Cazaugitat ( Occitan Casau Gitat ) is a French municipality with 244 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Langon and the canton Le Réolais et Les Bastides (until 2015 Pellegrue ).
geography
Cazaugitat is about 53 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Cazaugitat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Soussac in the north, Auriolles in the east and northeast, Saint-Ferme in the east and southeast, Rimons and Caumont in the south, Cleyrac in the west and Mauriac in the northwest.
