Bieujac ( gascognisch : Viaujac ) is a French municipality with 620 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Langon and the canton of Le Sud-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Langon ). The inhabitants are called Bieujacais .

location

Bieujac is located about 47 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . Bieujac is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Loubert in the north and north-west, Castets et Castillon in the north and east, Savignac in the south-east, Brannens in the south, Auros in the south and south-west and Saint-Pardon-de-Conques in the west and north-west.

The A62 autoroute runs past the southern edge of the municipality .
