Morizès ( Gascon : Maurisèth ) is a municipality with 545 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Gironde . It belongs to the canton of Le Réolais et Les Bastides in the Langon arrondissement . The inhabitants are called Morizéens .

geography

Morizès is located about 45 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux on the Dropt , which borders the municipality in the east. Morizès is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Exupéry in the north, Camiran in the northeast, Les Esseintes in the east, Gironde-sur-Dropt in the south and southeast, Casseuil in the south and southwest, Sainte-Foy-la-Longue in the west and Saint-Laurent -du plan in the northwest.
