Coirac ( Occitan identical) is a French municipality with 202 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Langon and the canton of L'Entre-deux-Mers (until 2015 canton of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne ). The inhabitants are called Coiracais .

geography

Coirac is about 38 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . Coirac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Genis-du-Bois in the north, Daubèze in the northeast, Saint-Brice in the east, Castelviel in the south and southeast, Gornac in the south and southwest and Porte-de-Benauge in the west.
