geography

Taillecavat is about 62 kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . The Dropt limits the community in the northeast. Taillecavat is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cours-de-Monségur in the north and west, Duras in the northeast, Saint-Pierre-sur-Dropt in the east, Lévignac-de-Guyenne in the southeast and Saint-Géraud in the south.
