Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Noaille is located about 52 kilometers southeast of Bordeaux . Saint-Hilaire-de-la-Noaille is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Loubens in the north and north-west, Roquebrune in the north and north-east, Saint-Sulpice-de-Guilleragues in the east and north-east, Fossès-et-Baleyssac in the east, Mongauzy in the south-east, Montagoudin in the south, La Réole in the southwest and Saint-Sève in the west.

The community is located on Via Lemovicensis , one of the four historic " Way of the Pilgrims in France ".
