Baigneaux ( Occitan Banhaus ) is a French municipality with 438 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Aquitaine ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Langon and the canton of L'Entre-deux-Mers (until 2015 Targon ). The inhabitants are called Baigneaudais .

geography

Baigneaux is about forty kilometers east-southeast of Bordeaux . Baigneaux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cessac in the north, Frontenac in the east, Martres in the south and south-east, Montignac in the south and west and Bellebat in the west and north-west.
