Hurray, a great uncle will be dad is a 1970 German film fun game by Hans Albin . The main roles are played by Beppo Brem as "great uncle" and Maria Brockerhoff , whose last movie it was.

action

Kilian and Maria live in an idyllic wine village on the Main. Both are connected in deep love. But familiar happiness threatens family hardships, because Maria's father has long since picked out another man, a wealthy hotelier, for his daughter's future. As expected, Maria is not at all enthusiastic about it. Good advice is expensive, but Maria has a smart and shrewd uncle. His name is Dr. Blomoser and is a veterinarian in Ochsenheim in Bavaria. The Bajuware has bandaged the legs of many a sick Waldi, so why shouldn't he also treat Maria and, in this case, be able to help her out of an endangered love? With his help and Kilian's courageous standing up for his love, Kilian and Maria can finally get married in the end, and the supposed uncle then becomes a dad - namely the true father of Mary, as it turns out in the end.

Production notes

Hooray, a great uncle will be dad , also under the second title Der Viehdoktor von Ochsenheim , was created in mid-1970 and was premiered on November 26, 1970 in Würzburg. It was Hans Albin's last feature film direction.

criticism

"A primitive attempt at entertainment in the rough Bavarian swank manner, 'garnished' with a detour to Munich, which degenerates into a 'drug trip'."
