Hymexazol is a chemical compound from the group of isoxazoles and one of Sankyo developed and early 1970s introduced fungicide .

Extraction and presentation

Hymexazole can be obtained by reacting diketene and hydroxylamine and then ring closure with hydrogen chloride .

use

Hymexazole is used as a systemic soil fungicide and dressing agent in rice, vegetable and sugar beet cultivation.

Admission

Plant protection products with hymexazole as an active ingredient (trade name Tachigaren ) are approved in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
