IC 2800 is a spiral galaxy from the Hubble type S in Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 729 million light years from the Milky Way and about 110,000 light years in diameter .
The galaxies IC 2781 , IC 2795 , IC 2798 , IC 2802 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered on March 27, 1906 by the German astronomer Max Wolf .
