IX. Civil Senate of the Imperial Court
The IX. Civil Senate of the Reichsgericht was a panel of the Reichsgericht . It was one of a total of five to nine senates that dealt with civil matters. It existed from April 1930 to November 1932. Senate President was Alfons David , who also chaired the 8th Civil Senate . Further cast in 1930: Bernhard Ehrlich , Franz Schleyer, Werner Pinzger , Kurt Sonntag and three auxiliary judges.
As a so-called "discharge senate" was the IX. Civil Senate in particular responsible for matrimonial matters from the higher regional court districts Darmstadt , Frankfurt a. M. , Hamm , Karlsruhe , Kassel , Kiel , Oldenburg , Rostock and Stuttgart (taken over by the IV Civil Senate ) as well as for damages due to tortious acts (taken over from the VI Civil Senate ).
