Auxiliary senate of the Reichsgericht
The auxiliary senates of the Reichsgericht were arbors of the Reichsgericht . There were a total of three “auxiliary senates” in the period from 1879 to 1883.
history
By § 15 EGGVG 1877 processes to be settled came from the highest regional courts to the Reichsgericht. Apparently it was something from Prussia. In order to cope with the business case, auxiliary senates were provided for in § 16 EGGVG 1877. These began their work with the opening of the Imperial Court on October 1, 1879. The Prussian judicial administration sent judges to the auxiliary senate at its own expense.
Business distribution
In 1880 the three auxiliary senates were assigned to the civil litigation from the Prussian higher regional court districts of Berlin, Breslau, Hamm, Königsberg, Marienwerder, Naumburg, Posen and Stettin. The first auxiliary senate worked on the law of obligations . The II. Auxiliary Senate took over the property law matters of the II. Senate of the Upper Tribunal . The III. The other property law matters with the exception of mining law were allocated to the auxiliary senate.
