The Ichstedter Lehde nature reserve is located in the area of the city of Bad Frankenhausen / Kyffhäuser in the Kyffhäuserkreis in Thuringia .

It extends northwest of Ichstedt and north of Udersleben , both districts of the city of Bad Frankenhausen. The state border with Saxony-Anhalt runs north .
