Ignaz von Schurda

Ignaz Freiherr von Schurda (born March 13, 1822 in Radnitz , Bohemia , † July 16, 1879 in Purkersdorf ) was an Austrian civil servant and politician.

Ignaz von Schurda worked in the military, police and judiciary, from 1857 to 1861 he was a Reichsrat official. He was court secretary and chairman of the presidential office of Archduke Rainer and deputy president of the state commission for the personnel matters of the mixed district offices, the kk base load releasing and regulation commission and the kk fief allodization commission. In 1867/68 he was governor of Upper Austria .
