Alois Fischer (born January 28, 1796 in Landeck , County of Tyrol , † April 8, 1883 in Innsbruck ) was an Austrian politician , lawyer and civil servant .

Life

Alois Fischer, born in Landeck, first studied law at the University of Vienna and then moved to the University of Innsbruck in 1822 . While studying in 1819 the stepped fraternity Lichen District in Vienna and was in 1823 a member of the fraternity Liberation Germania Innsbruck . In 1823 he became a legal intern in a law firm . A year later he received his doctorate from the University of Padua for Dr. iur. After a short stay in St. Gallen , he worked as a lawyer at the Imperial and Royal Supreme Justice Office in Salzburg . In 1848 he acted as a Salzburg deputy and ministerial advisor for the interior and as kk court commissioner in Tyrol for the reorganization of the judiciary . After a brief membership in the Reichstag of Kremsier he served from 1849 to 1851 as governor in Upper Austria . In 1851 he was appointed section head of the Ministry of the Interior . Retired from this position , he was director of the kk privileged mutual fire damage insurance company . He also became a member of the state parliament in Tyrol in 1861 .

Alois Fischer died in Innsbruck at the age of 87.
