Igor Vitalievich Simutenkow ( Russian Игорь Витальевич Симутенков ; born April 3, 1973 in Moscow ) is a former Russian football player and current football coach.

Simutenkow belonged from the 1990 season to the first team of Dynamo Moscow . In the 1994 season he was with this team Russian runners-up and with 21 goals top scorer of the upper league . In 1994 he was also voted Russian Footballer of the Year . Simutenkow then moved to Italy for AC Reggiana in the Serie A . After the relegation of Reggiana Simutenkow moved to Bologna FC before the 1998/99 season . He then played from 2000 to 2002 with CD Tenerife and from 2002 to 2004 in the USA with the Kansas City Wizards . After a brief stint at Rubin Kazan , he ended his active career in 2006 in Russia at Dynamo Voronezh .

Simutenkow completed a total of 20 international matches for the Russian national team , he took part in the European Football Championship in 1996 and was used during this tournament in the preliminary round matches against Germany and the Czech Republic .

As a coach he was in charge of the Torpedo-ZIL Moscow team in the 2007 season, and from 2007 to 2009 he was in charge of a junior team of the Russian Football Association . Since January 1, 2010 Simutenkow has been assistant trainer at Zenit Saint Petersburg .
