Aleksandr Kerzhakov ( Russian Александр Анатольевич Кержаков / Aleksandr Anatol'evič Keržakov; FIFA spelling aloud English transcription. Aleksandr Kerzhakov * 27. November 1982 in Kingissepp , Leningrad Oblast , Russian SFSR ) is a former Russian football player and scorer of his country.

Career

society

The striker played in the Russian league for Zenit Saint Petersburg until he moved to the Spanish Primera División for Sevilla FC during the winter break of the 2006/07 season. Kerzhakov was the top scorer in the Russian Premjer League in 2004. For this reason he was also called Alexander the Great in Russia. For Sevilla, Kerhakov wore the shirt with the number 9.

With Sevilla he won the UEFA Cup on May 16, 2007 against Espanyol Barcelona , the Copa del Rey on June 23, 2007 against Getafe FC and on August 21, Supercopa de España against Real Madrid .

He took part with the Russian national team in the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan and South Korea and in the UEFA Euro 2004 in Portugal, but was not nominated by coach Guus Hiddink for the UEFA Euro 2008 as the most dangerous Russian player . Alexander Kerzhakov has been the record scorer for the Russian national team since September 3, 2014, when he beat Vladimir Bestschastnych's record with his 27th goal .

Alexander Kerzhakov has a younger brother named Michail, who is also a professional footballer and plays in the position of goalkeeper.

Alexander Kerzhakov is divorced and has two children. He has a daughter from the marriage who was born on September 7, 2005. Kerschakow is currently in a relationship with Yekaterina Lobanova. The couple's son was born on March 21, 2013.
