Oleg Alexandrowitsch Weretennikow ( Russian Олег Александрович Веретенников ; born January 5, 1970 in Rewda , Soviet Union ) is a former Russian football player and current coach.

Career

society

Oleg Weretennikow began his career in the third division of the Soviet Union with Uralmash Sverdlovsk . The striker was under contract with Rotor Volgograd from 1992 to 2000 and was part of the Strumtrio Weretennikow- Niederhaus - Jessipow in the 1990s , which brought Rotor Volgograd into the top flight of the Russian league . From 2001 to 2002 he was hired by Sokol Saratov . With the club he was relegated from the Russian league in 2002 and from then on played for various clubs in the second-class 1st division and in the Kazakh premier league . In June 2015 he took over the post of head coach at the Russian second division club Lutsch-Energija Vladivostok .
