Ilya Heinig

Ilja Heinig (* 1950 in Leipzig ) is a German painter .

Life

Ilja Heinig studied at the Berlin University of the Arts (HdK) and was a master student of Klaus Fußmann . In 1988 he was awarded the Alternative Work Site Bemis Project Fellowship in Omaha , Nebraska . He lives and works as a freelance painter in Berlin and Wehningen .
