Imad Mardnli (* 1976 in Aleppo ) is a German-Lebanese actor from Berlin.

Life

Mardnli spent the first part of his life in Lebanon . Because of the civil war , his family fled with him to Germany in 1978. Following his school career, he completed an apprenticeship as an office communications clerk and graduated with a high school diploma.

Then in 1999 Mardnli signed up for four years as a contract soldier in the military police , where he was trained and deployed as a bodyguard . Since his time in the military, he worked in Germany and abroad as a bodyguard , including for Nike , for which he Dirk Nowitzki , Nicolas Kiefer and Ronaldo protect.

Mardnli played the theater early on. In addition to his full-time occupation as the owner of a security company, he worked as a hobby stuntman for television productions. He has been taking acting lessons since 2014. He has been practicing martial arts such as boxing or muay thai since he was twelve and has the first dan (black belt) in taekwondo .

Private

Mardnli lives in Kreuzberg and has three children.
