Independent Performance Group

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Independent Performance Group (IPG) was a non-commercial organization founded by Marina Abramović in 2003 with the aim of promoting young international performance artists. The organization saw itself as an interface between artists and curators, museums and other art organizations. IPG built an archive with information about and documentation of the works of art of its members. The IPG was dissolved in 2007.
