Inès Boubakri (born December 28, 1988 in Tunis ) is a Tunisian foil fencer .

successes

Inès Boubakri won her first international medals at the Mediterranean Games . In 2009 the left-hander won bronze in Pescara , and four years later in Mersin silver. In 2018 she finally won the gold medal in Tarragona . She won bronze medals at world championships in Kazan in 2014 and in Wuxi in 2018 .

Boubakri took part in three Olympic Games . In her debut in 2008 in Beijing divorced her after their first battle and was ranked 33rd at the 2012 Games in London , she reached the quarter-finals, where they Valentina Vezzali 7: 8 defeated. In Rio de Janeiro in 2016 she made it to the quarter-finals again, defeating Eleanor Harvey in this . In the subsequent semifinals she lost to Elisa Di Francisca with 9:12, but prevailed in the final battle for third place against Aida Schanajewa with 15:11 and won the bronze medal.

She has been married to the French fencer Erwann Le Péchoux since 2014 .
