Inge C. Pohl

Inge C. Pohl (born May 1941 in Reichenberg , Reichsgau Sudetenland ) is an Austrian visual artist and former art teacher .

Live and act

Pohl grew up in Upper Austria and completed her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and at the University of Vienna . Since 1964 in Tyrol / Innsbruck, since 1987 living in Grinzens. From 1972 to 2005 she was professor for artistic design at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Innsbruck .

Her artistic work extends to photography , graphics , installation , ceramic sculpture , painting and objects in various techniques. Between 1989 and 1993 she took part in competitions on art in architecture , and some works were also realized. From 1967 onwards, the artist presented her works in exhibitions, mainly in western Austria. She was initially a member of the Innviertel artists' guild and after moving there in 1967 she joined the Tyrolean artist community .
