Mayerhofer belonged from 1974 to 1985 as a midfielder to Bayern Munich on. During her club membership, she and the team made it into the final of the German championship four times.
On June 15, 1975, she and her team lost 4-2 to the team of Bonner SC in the sports park in the Bonn district of Pennenfeld in the Bad Godesberg district .
