German Football Championship 1979 (women)

The 1979 German women's soccer championship was the sixth German soccer championship that the DFB had hosted in women's soccer since 1974 . SSG 09 Bergisch Gladbach became German champions in women's football in 1979 . In the final they beat Bayern Munich 3-2 and 1-0. It was the second championship for the SSG. For the last time the final was played back and forth. As of 1980 there is only one game left.
