Sissy Raith (born June 11, 1960 in Munich ) is a former German soccer player and current soccer coach .
Career as a player
societies
Via the youth clubs TSV Eching and Eintracht Freising , Raith came to the women's department of FC Bayern Munich at the age of 15 , with which she won her first title in women's football a year later and stayed until 1984. For the 1984/85 season she moved to the Hessian league competitor FSV Frankfurt , which she left after only one season. For TSV Siegen , she completed six successful seasons from 1985 to 1991.
Selection / national team
As a player in the selection team of the Bavarian Football Association , she also won the final of the national cup , which was won on April 17, 1983 in Grünberg against the selection team of the Hessian Football Association 4-3 on penalties .
As a player in the selection team of the Hessian Football Association, she won the finals of the national cup twice; first on May 22, 1994 in Herborn in the 3-0 victory over the team of the Mittelrhein football association , then on April 15, 1995 in Pfingstberg-Hochstädt in the 2-0 victory over the team of the Badischer Fußballverband .
For the senior team , she played 58 times and scored four goals. She made her debut on March 5, 1983 in Bergisch Gladbach in a 1-1 draw against Belgium . Raith started as assistant coach of the women's team at FC Bayern Munich in July 2002 , stayed there until December 2003 and rose as head coach in 2004 (until June 2008). From January to October 2009 she coached the regional league men's team of TSV Eching and led them into the regional league . From May 2010 to 2012 she coached the female U-15 and U-17 national teams of Azerbaijan.
On June 13, 2013 she took over the coaching position of the women's national league A league club FC Staad , which she held until the end of the 2015/16 season. From July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2018, she coached league competitor FC Basel .
