Controversy over water filters

As a university professor of the SpoHo, he informed or promoted a water filter in November 2018 as part of a video by the association Wassertankstelle eV, the manufacturer of which is in turn connected to the association through its management, as it is the chairman of the association. When asked by journalists, Froböse could not provide any scientific evidence for the advantages of precisely that filter, which it claimed in the video. He denied having received any money; his participation in the video was, according to him, a favor . The SpoHo distanced itself from the video in response to journalistic requests and denied any collaboration with the association.
