Inning is a village and a cadastral municipality in the market town of Hürm in Lower Austria.

The village is three kilometers north of Hürm on the L5246 state road and is in the catchment area of ​​the Marktbach , which rises very close by. As of January 1, 2020 there were 186 inhabitants in Inning.

Inning is also listed in the Franziszeischen Cadastre from 1822 as a street village with several farmsteads on both sides of the street. After the reforms of 1848/1849 , Inning was established as an independent municipality in 1850 and was assigned to the Mank district until 1868 and then to the Melk district . In the years 1967–71 the communities Hürm, Hainberg , Siegendorf and Inning were merged to form the large community Hürm.
