from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The stage manager of the flak cartillery at the Luftwaffenkommando Südost was a command staff at brigade level of the Luftwaffe during the Second World War . The brigade staff was set up in July 1943. The sole commanding officer was Colonel Otto Sydow .

After the armistice of Italy and the associated withdrawal from the axis , Albania was occupied by the armed forces. In this context, the stage manager took over the operational management of the flak units involved in this occupation. The subordinate anti-aircraft regiments are not known. After completion of the occupation, the brigade staff was converted on October 1, 1943 into the division staff of the 20th Flak Division . It is not known whether the anti-aircraft regiments 38 and 40, which were subordinate to the 20th Flak Division at the time the division staff was set up, were already under the control of the stage manager.
