The higher commander of the anti-aircraft artillery in Luftkreis VII was a service in brigade strength of the Luftwaffe in the 1930s. The brigade staff was set up on October 1, 1935 with a command post in Braunschweig . The sole commanding officer was Colonel Dr. phil Eugen Weissmann .

As a higher commander, he was responsible for the operational management of the flak forces in the Hamburg - Bremen - Lower Saxony - Anhalt area . In detail that were subject to

• Flak Regiment 6 in Hamburg-Altona
• Flak Regiment 7 in Wolfenbüttel
• Flak Regiment 26 in Dessau and parts of the
• Flak Regiment 27 in Bremen

Due to restructuring in the management structure of the Luftwaffe, the agency was dissolved on June 30, 1938. The subordinate anti-aircraft regiments were assigned to other brigade staffs.
