The higher commander of the anti-aircraft cartillery in Luftkreis V was a service in brigade strength of the Luftwaffe in the 1930s. The brigade staff was set up on October 1, 1935 with a command post in Munich . The sole commanding officer was Colonel Friedrich Heilingbrunner .
As the higher commander and superior of the troops, he was responsible for the operational management of the flak forces in Bavaria and Württemberg . As of October 1, 1936, this was subordinate to him
- Flak Regiment 6 in Ludwigsburg and Göppingen and that
- Flak Regiment 25 in the Göppingen and Kitzingen area
as well as parts of the Flak Regiment 5 in Munich and the Flak Regiment 8 in Fürth . Due to restructuring in the management structure of the Luftwaffe, the agency was dissolved on June 30, 1938. The subordinate anti-aircraft regiments were assigned to other brigade staffs.
