Higher in command of the anti-aircraft artillery in Luftkreis I

The Higher Commander of the Flak Artillery in Luftkreis I was a brigade-strength position in the Luftwaffe before the Second World War . The brigade staff was set up on October 1, 1935, with a command post in Königsberg . As the higher commander and superior of the troops, he was responsible for the operational management of the flak forces in East Prussia . The following flak regiments were subordinate to him:

  • Flak Regiment 1 in Koenigsberg
  • Flak Regiment 11 in Seerappen - Neuendorf (later relocated to Königsberg)

On June 30, 1938, the agency was closed due to structural changes. The subordinate anti-aircraft regiments were assigned to other brigade staffs.
